Best laptops for kids 2020: the top laptops for kids in elementary school and beyond

There’s more to finding the best laptops for kids than looking for the ones with the most affordable or cheapest price tags. While kid-friendly portables should come with a reasonable price tag - you don’t want to get a pricey machine that would only get lost or broken a few weeks later, you also want to get something that’s the right fit for your kids’ needs.

This means that there are a couple of things you must consider when you’re shopping around for the best laptops for your kids and teens. Build is vitally important since you want something that can survive repeated drops and withstand a heavy hand. As are internal components that are powerful enough for school and can handle some light entertainment post-homework.

Since your kid will probably forget to charge it regularly, you’ll also want something with a long battery life, preferably one that can last a whole school day on a single charge. Finally, the best laptops for kids must come with security features and parental controls that will keep your child safe and secure while they’re online.

Whether you’re in the market for affordable tablets, the best Chromebooks or very versatile 2-in-1 hybrid laptops, there’s something on our list of the best laptops for kids.
